Interpreting the Bible - Small

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (1 Timothy 2:15)

Increasingly, today, we hear misinterpretations (and misrepresentations) of a variety of portions of the Bible being taught. At least one result of this is that it is causing no small amount of confusion, misapplication, and even a distrust of the very word of God to us. It is imperative that we grow in knowing how to read, interpret, understand, and apply the Bible to our lives. “Interpreting the Bible” is a seminar designed to help us do just that.

Using memory devices of visualization, Dr. Rob Plummer (of Southern Seminary) will help us learn and remember seven essential steps in interpreting and understanding the Bible. When you walk out of his seminar, you will be able to list and discuss these steps without consulting any notes.

Saturday, March 21  •  9:00AM - 2:00PM
@Sovereign Grace Church, Bellbrook

  • All ages are encouraged to attend. No childcare will be available for this seminar.
  • Light refreshments will be served throughout the seminar.
